THE THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS OF  SWITZERLAND’S CLIMATE:

The human organism reacts to climatic properties which may have an effect  on the circulation, metabolism, the vegetative system, central and nervous system and hormonal activity. Climatic conditions that help to promote healthy therapy and recovery are:

Stimulating properties: Altitude – sunshine – intensity of solar radiation

Sedative properties:     Protection from strong winds – moderate and balanced cooling
index – comparatively stable weather – a combination of stimulating
                                       and sedative properties

In Switzerland climatic resorts and spas are classified according to their degrees of stimulation. Therefore we suggest you find the spa you are considering in the following list and check for the degree of stimulation, as well as for the general effects you can look for.
