     The Richmond Parkhotel is located in a calm part of Karlovy Vary on the bank of the Tepla river and is surrounded by an English-style park with an original Japanese meditation garden and a lovely small pavilion with a well called Stephanie.
      Apart from the traditional complete spa treatment the Parkhotel Richmond also offers special programmes, such as an anti-stress programme, diabetic programme, weight-loss-programme and others. All the medical treatments, such as aquatherapy, underwater-massages, carbonic baths, medical mud wraps, paraffin, acupuncture and others are performed in the medical section of the hotel. In the hotel there is a swimming pool, and sauna available.
        Indications for treatment: gastroenterologic diseases, metabolic disorders, locomotor system disorders.
         The Richmond Hotel can be proud of its history of more than 160 years. The entire capacity of the hotel is 85 rooms, each is equipped with a satellite-TV, phone, minibar and safe. In the hotel you will also find a tasteful and stylishly furnished restaurant, café with a summer-terrace, piano bar and a billiards - lounge. Hotel Richmond's pride and joy is the banqueting hall built in the classicist style for up to 250 people. It is possible to take advantage of the free guarded lot.
         A tasteful restaurant provides a choice of á la carte meals that comprises local and/or international cuisine of the highest standard. The guests can also choose from dietary meals.
       Our guests can play golf on the lovely golf course, 10 minutes drive by car from the hotel. The 18 holes championship golf course was projected and constructed in 1933. Length for men is 6141 / 5636 metres and for women 5358 / 4996 metres. Par 72.
      Other sports are also offered. Outdoor and indoor tennis courts are nearby. Beautiful parkland and forest in surroundings attracts people to bicycling and horse riding. Many signed ways of different lengths are available. The hotel management can also arrange fishing and hunting on request. Parkhotel Richmond offers own swimming pool and sauna.
      Guests can also visit the spa towns of Mariánské Láznì and Františkovy Láznì, medieval Loket, the monastery in Teplá, castle in Beèov, national park SOOS and world famous glass factory of Moser. Whole day trips to Prague and Dresden are also offered, of course. The sightseeing flights can be arranged at the nearby airport.
      The lovers of the classical music will surely enjoy the concerts provided by the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra and many operas in city theatre.
       There are two casinos in the town, one of them located only 100 metres from Hotel Richmond.
