    The hotel stands in attractive gardens facing the enchanting Lago Maggiore; it boasts magnificent views of the Borromean Islands and the surrounding alps. Originally built in 1861, internally it has been continually renovated until 1999 keeping in theme with its original, unaltered "belle epoque" façade. 124 double rooms, 6 singles, 34 Junior suites and 11 suites, including the new luxurious "Hemingway Suite". Both suites and Junior suites feature a bath with a whirlpool (Jacuzzi-style bath tub). All rooms have air conditioning and satellite television with an extensive choice of worldwide satellite channels.
        Just one hour by train or car from Milan and conveniently located for the exploration of a myriad of exciting excursions, this is an idea destination for a wonderful health holiday.
      Other facilities include, the restaurant "II Borromeo" and piano-bar. In the park: two swimming pools, tennis court, private heliport and large underground car park with garage. Private landing for motor boats and boats.Water sports, a riding-ground and 7 golf courses are also avalaible locally.
      The Hotel hosts a famous Centro Benessere with indoor swimming pool . All programs are carefully and constantly monitored by a high level medical staff, and a team of experts customizes a program of physical activities, die and beauty treatments to suit each particpant's specific needs. Generally lasting for seven days, pkgs. can be customized for fewer or more days upon request.
      Location: One hour from Milan, a train comes direct to Stresa and takes just one hour, at the cost of 15 €. The hotel is within walking distance of the Stresa station. A private car transfer from Malpensa Airport: 115 € and from Linate Airport 185 € - one way.

MULTISTAGE OXYGEN THERAPY: Consisting of graduated concentrations of pure oxygen whose effect is to restore oxygen levels ion arterial and venous blood, re-open capillaries throught the body and improve blood supply to the organs - thus helping to slow down the aging process

PHYSIOTHERAPY: Involves the use of manual massage as well as electro-analgesic and electro- stimulation equipment, whose purpose is to relieve chronic or acute joint, muscle and bone inflammation. Plus: Shiatsu, collagen injections, anti-Aging and - anti-cellulite treatments, facials, manicures and pedicures.
