  This imposing building  was originally built as a Bishop’s palace for the Bishops of Down, so there is a great  sense of history as well as elegance. It stands on 12 acres of beautiful secluded gardens and woodland. Palatial surroundings, fine antiques and the highest level of personal service combine to give the Culloden a unique air of elegance.        In the fall and winter the lounge with it’s huge fireplace is the meeting place of choice, to curl up with a book or enjoy the company of others over a cup of tea by day or a glass of wine by night.

          As beautifully historical and elegant as the hotel is - the Elysium Spa is ultra modern and is certainly one of the most  exclusive spas in Northern Ireland.
