 The Bristol Palace is the main hotel in a major spa complex of  four mansions in a lovely residential section of the town. It is one of the most beautiful Karlovy Vary residences and was built at the end of the 19th century. The hotel has 48 single and double rooms, luxurious and presidential apartments at its disposal. Some rooms have spacious balconies.
      The complex is made up of various mansions  which ramble over the estate grounds, as pictured above. Each hotel has its own balneology facility as well as a physician’s surgery and both a physician and a nurse are available twenty-four hours a day. Each  one specializes in different treatment programs ranging from pampering, slimming, therapeutic and anti-stress to plastic surgery and laser therapy. They treat obesity,   diabetus millitus,  arteriosclerosis,  digestive and  locomotive problems.     
      During their stay, all patients can go through highly specialized examination of cardiovascular system, digestive organs, bones and apnea and consult with physicians. Special curative programs target certain diseases (diabetes mellitus, weight reduction); wellness and fitness stays and light healing stays for the end of the year are prepared. Patients can use rehabilitation swimming pools, whirlpools, saunas, fitness centres and visit beauty salons and amenities.
        There is a full diagnostic division; ultrasonography, endoscopy, bone densitometry and bowel irrigation. The Laser Centre uses the latest American technology to remove tatoos, brown and sun spots, birth marks, wrinkles and psoriasis. In addition to the classic balneo- logical treatments, they have acupuncture, oxygenotherapy, acupressure, Kneipp therapy, lymph drainage, and more.     
       The recommended stay is 21 – 28 days, but it can be either shortened (7 – 14 days) or prolonged to several weeks. Basic medical examinations are part of the treatment. The physician determines the curative regime (procedures) and the diet . Patients who come should have health insurance and bring the medicaments they use every day with them. Pediatric patients can be examined and treated in a children’s sanatorium nearby.      If you wish a spa program , upon check-in at the hotel an appointment is made with the doctor who will give you a medical examination. He then determines the exact program to suit your needs and all the treatments  are included in the rates below - under FBT.

Rationalised diet : Basic spa diet prescribed for most spa medical indications as a diet regime
 Pancreatic diet : Fatless diet for pancreas diseases
Sparse diet with reduced fat : Diet for diseases of gall bladder, gall duct and pancreas after alleviation of the
   acute state. During convalesce after viral hepatitis and intestinal dyspepsia.
Low cholesterol diet : Diet for hypercholesterolemy, dyslipidemy, for patients with risk factors of
   arteriosclerosis and  heart and vascular diseases
Reduction: 1200 kcal, 1000 kcal, 600 kcal : Diet for patients who are recommended to reduce their weight
Diabetic diet : Diabetes mellitus diet
Diabetic sparse diet : For diabetes mellitus, chronic disease of gastrointestinal tract, chronic hepatitis &
  pancreatitis
Diet without gluten : Diet for gluten intolerance
