      When the Princess of Prussia inaugurated Bad Neuenahr's Augusta and Victoria Springs in 1858, she launched a tradition that has been honored ever since. In 1993, a state-of-the-art thermal bath, the Ahr-Therme, opened, quickly garnering a reputation as one of the finest in Europe.
