       Set among the green Tuscan hills, between Pienza’s renaissance treasures and Montalcino and Montepulciano’s famous vineyards  is Bagno Vignoni, an ancient thermal location, in the deep heart of the amazing Val d’Orcia National Park. In 2004 the Orcia Valley was declared by UNESCO World Heritage  an exceptional reflection of the way the landscape was re-written in Renaissance times. The landscape of the Val d’Orcia was celebrated by painters from the Siennese School and have come to be seen as icons of the Renaissance .
       The healing properties of Bagno Vignoni’s thermal water were well-known to both the Etruscans and Romans and other famous personalities like Lorenzo il Magnifico, Caterina da Siena and Pope Pio II  who chose to bathe here. This charming 13th century village is just a brief five minute stroll from the hotel so you can enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch at the  piazza or in a garden  or enjoy an espresso at an outdoor cafe, all while drinking in the beauty of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
        In the fascinating world of thermal waters you will find again the dimension of time and harmony, and rediscover  the pleasure of simple things. The facilities include indoor, outdoor mineral pools, a freshwater pool 'sports' pool, a wild river current stream and a kids pool. The mineral waters are particularly efficacious for the treatment of rheumatism, digestive, respiratory and dermatological  problems.

      BEAUTY AND WELLNESS TREATMENTS: A wide variety of pampering and therapeutic treatments are available to suit your every need or desire. The menu includes Ayurvedic, Holistic, Thai, Reiki, Hot Stone and Thalasso therapy treatments. There are packages for men as well as women and you may choose from a half day,full day or 3  to 7 day programs.
 ACCOMMODATIONS: The Hotel has a total of 90 luxury rooms and suites: The “Superior” (35 m² for  two people), “Family Junior Suite ” (40 m² for  three people) and the Family Suite (50 m² for four people).  The spacious rooms offer a sitting area with coffee table, a sofa,  writing desk and  an armchair. The decor features rich wood furnishings, with warm-toned draperies. All rooms and suites have “Bio air-conditioning” (room temperature and dampness individually adjustable) room safe, colour satellite TV (with English channels), ISDN-plug-in, mini-bar. The marble bathroom features a deep soaking tub and separate glass-enclosed shower, toilet and bidet in a separate room, hairdryer, terry bath robe. Private terrace or balcony overlooking the splendid Orcia Valley. Rooms for disabled and rooms for allergy sufferers are also available.
OUR LOCATION: The closest airports are Rome, Sienna, Florence, Perugia or Pisa. Rome and Florence are approximately two hours away. We highly recommend renting a car at the airport because there is so much to see in the area that you will certainly want to explore it all and enjoy a true Tuscan holiday. Transfers can be arranged upon request .
